
Systems Engineering
Anitcom have a sound understanding of the Information Technology
and Communication requirements for companies with multiple or
dispersed sites, remote and or deployable requirements and with a high levels of security. The majority of Anitcom staff are qualified technical personnel
with extensive in-service experience of IT and communications
including Wide Area and Local Area Networks, Tactical, Cryptographic, HF, VHF,
and Satellite systems. Our people have invaluable knowledge of
Defence systems having undertaken many national and international
projects. As a company however, we specialise in the design and
integration of tactically secure system technologies for deployable
systems that includes virtual private networks, high level encryption,
Voice over IP, and wireless networks. Most of these systems are now
in operation in remote areas of the world by Australian, Thai and
Malaysian Defence organisations and the Australian Federal Police.
Consultancy
Anitcom's engineering consultancy involves the development of communications
specifications and network architecture for new buildings including cabling
architecture and campus infrastructure for Restricted, Secret and Top Secret
Systems. Anitcom have provided communications consultancy on many high profile
projects including Eastern Region Operations Centre (EASTROC), Defence Network
Operations Centre (DNOC), Headquarters Joint Operational Command (HQJOC), 2
Squadron Headquarters RAAF Williamtown, Airborne Early Warning and Command
(AEW&C) Building for Boeing at RAAF Williamtown, One PAC
Building Raymond Terrace and the Tactical Unmanned Airborne Vehicle
(TUAV) Project Building Enoggera Qld
to mention only a few.
IT Project Management
Working under a number of Defence and Government projects in
varied roles Anitcom has accumulated a wealth of experience
operating within the fluid and rapidly changing environments
surrounding Defence communications requirements.
Experience gained by Anitcom recently includes project management
and contractor liaison under DCISS; rapid acquisition, integration
and overseas management with varied RMAF Butterworth tasking under
the Royal Australian Air Force’s Combat Support Group; Requirements
analysis, customer liaison, design and management under consultancy
tasks including DNOC, JEWOSU and 2 SQN Precinct; and, rapid response
within OPURGENT tasks under examples such as OP SUMATRA ASSIST.
Anitcom has a wealth of very competent, resourceful and innovative
project managers, integrators and solutions providers. Anitcom
has an extensive working knowledge of Defence capability
development, projects and ADF operations both from previous military
experiences and from constant interaction with Defence throughout
our combined Industry career.
Anitcom’s combined 100 years of experience in systems engineering
and project management and delivery as communications professionals
has invariably been oriented towards the development, support and
activation of complex resilient systems in a timely and cost
beneficial manner.
Anitcom have been responsible for the installation of complete
computer room builds including all the environmental systems
required including fire suppression, security and air-conditioning. Anitcom were responsible for the project management
and construction of the computer rooms at RAAF Glenbrook, DFAT
remote site, and Border Protection Agency. Anitcom also managed the design, implementation and commissioning of
electronic and physical security, video, voice, electrical,
RESTRICTED, SECRET and TOP SECRET systems at RAAF contingent
Butterworth over a seven year period through operational ramp up and
OPURGENT times including the 2004 Asian Tsunami.
